Bentham is in the Craven district of Yorkshire. The town lies on the RIver Wenning, west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and on the Northern edge of the forest of bowland. The main roads that go through North Yorkshire are the A1/A1(M), A66(M) near Darlington and a small stretch of the M62 close to Eggborough. The other Nationally maintianed trunk routes are the A168/A19, A64 and the A66 and A174.
The scheme is situated near the centre of Bentham and is an 8mins walk down the road from Bentham Station. The Leeds to Morecambe railway passes through Bentham Station and is the main train that is taken from this station. The village is more housing estates, and not many industrial estates. The industrial estates that are there tend to have a lot of space for large deliveries, customer parking and staff parking etc.
The drivetime to Lancaster is about 30minutes. The drivetime to Leeds is approximately an hour and 30minutes. The drivetime to Blackburn is about an hour.
